2. About LCDE Content Studio

LCDE Content Studio is a private internal tool built for the Le Cafe de l'E-commerce team. It helps team members generate social media scripts for TikTok and LinkedIn and view TikTok video performance metrics. An editorial calendar is available locally in the browser for planning purposes only -- the tool does not publish or upload content to any platform. It is not publicly available and is used exclusively by authorized team members.

3. Data We Collect

When you connect your TikTok account via the TikTok Login Kit, the application receives and processes the following data:

  • TikTok access token and refresh token -- used to authenticate API requests on your behalf
  • TikTok open_id -- your unique TikTok user identifier
  • Video metadata -- title, description, cover image URL, view count, like count, comment count, share count, and duration of your published TikTok videos

We do not collect, store, or process the video files themselves. We only read publicly available video metrics through the TikTok API.

4. How We Use Your Data

The data listed above is used solely to display analytics and performance metrics inside the LCDE Content Studio dashboard. Specifically:

  • Access tokens are used to make authenticated requests to the TikTok API (video.list scope) to retrieve video performance data
  • Video metadata is displayed in the Analytics section so the presenter can track engagement

5. Data Storage and Retention

  • Access tokens and refresh tokens are stored in a server-side database (Neon PostgreSQL), scoped per presenter and platform
  • Tokens are refreshed automatically before expiry (86,400 seconds) and old tokens are overwritten
  • Video metadata is fetched in real time from TikTok's API on each page load and is not permanently stored on our servers
  • Editorial calendar data and content history are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never sent to our servers
  • Upon disconnection, all tokens and the associated open_id are permanently deleted from the database

6. Who Has Access

Each presenter's TikTok data is scoped to their presenter profile within the studio. The application is an internal tool with a small, known user base. Note: the application does not currently implement user authentication beyond presenter selection; access control relies on the tool being deployed on a private URL accessible only to team members.

7. Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer any user data to third parties. Data retrieved from TikTok's API is used exclusively within the LCDE Content Studio interface and is not transmitted to any external service.

8. TikTok API Usage

This application uses the TikTok API to read video metrics. Our use of TikTok data complies with TikTok's Developer Terms of Service. For information about how TikTok handles your data, please refer to TikTok's Privacy Policy.

9. Your Rights

You may disconnect your TikTok account at any time by clicking the "Disconnect" button in the Analytics section. This action:

  • Revokes the access token on TikTok's servers (via the TikTok revoke endpoint)
  • Permanently deletes your access token, refresh token, and open_id from our database

You may also request complete data deletion by contacting us at contact@lcde.fr. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

10. Contact
